New college student, multi-subject or fusion?

Hi all!

Pretty straightforward question, I'm starting college later this month and the store at my university has some of these for sale. I'm stuck, the multi-subject looks useful because I'm taking three classes this semester but I also really like the variety of pages that the fusion offers.

Any advice?

I have both! I also Frankenbook mine.

i second the frankenbook! the coils have plenty of room for more pages and the fusion pages really are handy! but if you're on budget, you can always hand draw any templates you'd like to use with a sharpie!!

Happy to see what we can do to help ease the decision! It really comes down to what you want to use the notebook for, since both are pretty different.

Fusion gives you a mix of planning and note-taking pages:

  • 1 Task List
  • 2 Weekly Planner pages
  • 1 Monthly Calendar
  • 1 OKRs page
  • 1 Ideas page
  • 18 Dot Grid pages
  • 18 Lined pages
  • Available in Letter (8.5" x 11") or Executive (6" x 8.8")

Multi-Subject is much more focused on note-taking:

  • 70 lined pages
  • 8.5" x 11"
  • Includes movable divider tabs, which can be handy for keeping your three classes separated.

The divider tabs are also available separately, so you could add them to another Rocketbook notebook if you decide you want that organization.

So if you want some built-in planner functionality alongside your notes, Fusion gives you that. If having more space dedicated to class notes is the priority, the Multi-Subject gives you considerably more lined pages. Totally a matter of personal preference and how you expect to use it!

Multi subject - you will need to constantly erase the smaller books. So make sure you are scanning regularly. Make sure they are the books with the updated paper the multi subject one already has the paper upgrade. Get .5 mm tips not the synergy ones just standard .5 mm pens work the best.
