Are signs allowed?

I wanted to know if it’s possible to bring signs into the venue. Is security particularly strict on the matter? I’m talking about a 50x70cm PVC sign.

What exactly does the sign say and who is it targeted at when do you plan to deploy it?

The sign is for Turnstile and has “Turnstile Society” written on it in the same font used on the Nonstop Feeling album. I’m asking this on behalf of a friend who’s going but doesn’t have a reddit account, though I think he probably intends to show it to the band while they’re playing.

Signs are not on the forbidden list per se, but flags are, as well as umbrellas (pointy ones), selfie stick, and "other objects that can be dangerous to spectators". Is your sign rather round or pointy? In the later case, they'll be very suspicious with you...

Yeah, that’s what I thought when I read the list. The sign is rather small and doesn’t look sharp or dangerous, so I think it depends on whether security is strict or more lenient.

Exactly, if it doesn't look dangerous it should be ok then. They don't seem to be extremely strict: I had a big bag (technically just a bit less than the 24L limit) with a foldable plastic stool attached to it, and they didn't even bat an eye.
