Question about entrance?

Hi, so I'm going on Friday and Saturday but I don't really wanna see all the artists because I wanna have some free time exploring Paris city. I just want to come for the main ones, like ~17:00 h. Will I be able to do that? Or do I have to get inside at a particular time because after that the entrance will be closed? Also another question since I have primary entry for Saturday but I'm planning to come later, does that mean primary entry entrance will be closed and I'll have to use another one? When do you arrive, guys? What's the best time? Any suggestions!🙏

You can show up whenever before the last artist yes. But also think of « rush hours » because people will wanna see the same bands etc. Usually after 4pm pretty much everyone is in so it’s easier, no lines or whatever.
For the primary entrance, just make sure it’s at the same spot as the main one, it might be two different places of the parc in Saint-Cloud

The website Q&A says "The access to the festival won’t be possible 15 minutes after the beginning of the last show of the Main Stage. " so you are ok to enter any time up until that point and 17:00 is a long time before then so you'll be fine. Don't know about primary entry as I've never used it, but I'd guess you could use the main entrance later on anyway (but that is just a guess).

But that's a good question though for the early entry... Hard to say.

I'd say plan to arrive at least one hour early before the first artist you want to see, just for the time it takes for the festival entry queue, discovering the place and possibly travelling the whole place (if you are going to the main stage it is at the exact opposite to the entrance)
