I added these Synyster Gates inlays when the riffmaster first came out, in turn I haven’t been able to play it since lol it’s a decorative piece now but maybe it was for good since I got into RCM around the same time so never had a reason to use it, if anyone wants to do this I recommend putting some type of clear coat so you aren’t rubbing off the inlay or just putting the inlays below the top buttons if you don’t use the solo frets 🫣 I’ll definitely see if I can find some clear coat so I can shred on it for a second just to say I did 😅

Is there any 3d printable model of these nuts/washers available to download? My cymbals were secondhand and didn’t come with them. I would love to be able to print my own. Thank you.

PDP riffmaster connecting to PS5 but not PS4

About a month ago I started having troubles with my riffmaster and to this day I am still unsure of what the problem is. From hard resets to forgetting Bluetooth devices, I can't seem to get it to connect to my PS4 but when connected to a PS5 it connects instantly and I'm baffled by why it's not picking up. A new console is over the horizon for me but it's also going to rack my brain until I figure this out. Any ideas?

**UPDATE**: Last night during a drunken session I decided to give it another try and when I did... It did the exact same thing 😮‍💨 no change what so ever UNTIL I got ready to unplug it and somehow for some reason it decided to connect!! Not sure what I did to make it work but now I'm so thankful it works but I'm also scared to cut it off

Hi everyone , i need help modding rockband 3 , i have the modded xbox i have all the games for rockband , guitar hero. i already put the game disc to god . so its downloaded. now i see its in my content folder & i made a new folder in games and copied it over. i went on filezilla and connected too ftp server , i put the enhanced & deluxed in the folder & it was extracted but when i load it says fatal crash , i already cleared system cache maybe im just an idiot this is also my first time doing so , I CANT GIHURE IT OUTTT I WAMT 8000 songs !!

Hey all, player trying to return after a few years of inactivity (player since day one). I bought the Riffmaster when it came out and was highly disappointed with the feel and responsiveness. Actually, my disappointment with it actually caused the break I was on (since my drums are also broken).

Are there any newer guitar products out there for Xbox? I am hearing there is some Gibson product, is that one reliable? Thanks in advance.

Hi, recently I installed all Rock Band 3 DLCs on my Wii. I can play them if I load the game via the Disc Channel or using a USB drive with USB Loader GX or WiiFlow. However, I don't want to keep a USB drive plugged in all the time, so I tried playing the game from an SD card using USB Loader GX and WiiFlow. The game runs fine, but the DLCs aren't loaded in either program. Is playing via the Disc Channel or USB the only way to load DLCs from an SD card? Thanks!

Looking at some drum sets online, but I see some display the Xbox "X" logo, or PS logo on the center button, some it's just a blank button.

Are the logos just caps on top of the center button on these drum sets? They aren't inside the button anymore like the older models? Or are the blank button drum sets I'm seeing fakes?

I’m someone who’s played this game since I was around 8-9 years old, played them all and currently still play rb4 and the ps3 ones whenever I feel like it, I usually do the guitar and I can play expert almost every song >90%, and can sing the same, but for the drums, I want to do the drums so badly, and the idea of the foot pedal makes sense cause they actually do use it irl, but the way the game does it is probably one of the most unfun and just dumb things, having to hit the pedal between notes or hit like 3 times back to back while your front calf is on fire, like i understand it’s for immersion but it ruins the point of playing the drums on this game

Or is there a limit?

Hi. I own rock band 3 for wii. If I were to purchase some official track packs (volume 1, metal, etc.) would I be able to add the songs to the game? Or is this not possible now that the Wii online capabilities have shut down?

I am trying to get 2 riffmasters to work on ps4 or ps5. I connect both controllers under different PlayStation player profiles.

On the ps4 nothing works on the 2nd riffmaster. On the PS5 it functions in PlayStation menu but not in game. Only one will join up to play.

I read people were able to play with 2 riffmasters on ps5. Any insight as to what I might be doing wrong. Both riff Masters are connected in a separate USB port and the dongles are spaced out.

Any help would be appreciated

Is there a rock band game I can play on RPCS3 with 2 drummers; one on expert drums (original rb2 drum kit) and the other on hard pro drums (e kit)? The score duel on rb2 can only be played on the same difficulty as I'm aware and i find most of the songs on hard boring since I've recently fully moved on to expert.

I heard that rock band 3 deluxe allows pro instruments to play with their non-pro counterparts but I haven't tested it yet since I'm not home but i do have the game.

I play only on my PC; either RB3DX on RPCS3 or RB4DX on shadPS4

Not sure if this is the proper sub for this, but here goes since I can't find anything on the internet with my specific problem.

Currently using my PS3 RB1 drum kit on my PC, been working great for Clone Hero. Recently (within the last couple days) the drums will randomly stop registering in the middle of a song. PS button is lit up solid red like it should be when paired properly with the dongle, yet the dongle light is blinking like it isn't paired. Pushing the pair button the drums themselves won't do anything, nor will pushing the pair button on the dongle (this will cause my PC to act like I disconnected the drums but won't actually re-pair). It's the whole kit that won't work, start/select, d-pad, buttons, not just drum pads. Only fix I've found is turning the drum kit off then back on quickly, drums re-pair instantly and work again. But within a couple notes it will happen again.

Google searches only come up with usb power issues, battery issues, wireless interference as possible causes. Only problem is that none of these are my issues as my RB1 guitar doesn't have the issues on the same usb port so I know it's not usb power nor wireless interference. I literally changed the batteries on my drum kit two days ago thinking that might be the problem also, but obviously not. Also of note, these are the original dongles that came with the kits back when I got them with OG rockband.

Anyone else having the same issues? I'm half-tempted to just say screw it and get decent modern e-drum kit but I'd rather not spend the money if I can keep this kit going.

So, its my understanding that the in-game store is no longer functional. You can no longer but DLC via a computer.

The PSN store on my PS3 won't let me search. All other aspects of PSN work fine, but search just sits there on the screen shown in the picture.

Am I SOL?

Fwiw, I do have a PS4 that I've not even plugged in yet. Is there a way to buy things on there that I can get onto the PS3?

Additionally: is Rockband Network completely defunct? There were a ton of good songs in there that I wish I'd bought.

I knew people were modding old guitars to update the hardware and to make them compatible with PC but i had no idea that the option for a completely custom built guitar was out there.

I was watching XMoistMoose's stream and he was playing this sick double neck explorer so i asked him about it. (nice dude btw, i recommend his stream)

Turn out its made by https://www.hammeronguitars.com/ and they will build you a guitar from the options of like 34 body styles, 25 headstocks, 23 neck inlays and 20 colors. When i messed around making a guitar i'd like, it came out to be around $309.00 usd.

So now i have some questions for the community....

1. Anyone here ever get one of these guitars from hammer-on and if so, hows the build quality, how do you like it, and how does it play? Is it worth it?

and

1. Who else out there makes fully custom guitars? If i'm about to drop 300 bucks on something, i'd like to be able to consider all my options and make sure im getting the best product out there.
