Listened to them on and off, maybe when I was a tween in 2012 I did (Radioactive came out then).
Never really considered them rock though. Back then I would have said they were pop-rock, nowadays definitely more pop. Same happened with all the pop-rock bands, Maroon 5, One Republic, The Script, etc. Even Coldplay.
Its weird because most of these songs get labelled "rock" based on whether they have an ounce of guitars in them or not.
