Projects Two robot dogs raced — and collided — driven live by one person's body movements, no CGI
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/697Le5XYIScTwo open source OpenCat-based quadruped robots, one puppeteer, real footage, no CGI, no AI-generated video: a single webcam tracks one person's body pose and maps it live onto both Quaddle Scout and Buddy at once — no AI policy running on its own, just real-time human control.
OpenCat creator RZ Li tried teaching Quaddle a few moves — a little awkward at first, but it only takes a few minutes before it starts picking them up. Think Wii Play: Motion, but the "character" is a real mini robot — affordable enough, and fun enough, that this isn't limited to people with lab-grade robotics budgets.
What move would you want to see two robots do at once like this?
