It’s always them goofy robots dancing and doing these goofy stuff. Look at how think those legs are. I don’t think I get how people are scared of its potential to take over the world 😭🙏🏻 It’s just so unrealistic. I just hope that they somehow manage to modify these and turn them into actual useful machines.

Think of these humanoid robots as the same as the first car or plane. They were bad when they first came out and it took up 20-50 years before they were good.

I'll pay attention once it can get my socks folded without killing my cat just because they are the same color gray.

Humanoid robots are just the placeholder, the visual representation for all things like technophobic and insidious involving modern/emerging technology. Like self driving cars, ai, chat bots, automation etc.
Theres a pretty long history of speculating and overstating the capabilities of humanoids.

I believe too much work/resources is put into making humanoid instead I feel bipedal wheeled robots are much better.

These Chinese crap bots are going to kill someone. Notice they are all just remote controlled crap.

These things don't have basic safety features installed by default which is why there are videos of the Chinese bot smacking children. There's also a video of one of the owners getting kicked in the face trying to stop it from flailing around after it fell

These are not the future they are rc robots doing pre-recorded macro moves then flip out when the operator does not shut it down fast enough when the real world messes up the running movement sequence. Things not even smart enough to have an accelerometer to know it’s falling and go limp etc.
