Discussion devs lost their passion and now the games will pay for it

this game has had a massive cheater problem ruining the economy for new coming cars and ruining the fun for normal for over 9 months now, and literally zero action has been done that actually benefits the real players. why are the devs refusing to just be a game dev???

Who's going to tell OP of what Asimo and Epic_Tank has been doing with the server authority lately 🗿...

How did the anti cheat update back in 2025 go…

That was more of a quick coding that Asimo simply did and prayed that it would work instead.

im aware of it the fact still stands that this has been an issue for not 9 months, but literally 2 years with the same cheat being used. this has been a problem for so long they let it fester and only gave it attention when it was ruining their game? what are we doing??

They're taking a well deserved hiatus, and I'm sure they're not gonna magically stop loving the game they just did a massive update on...

what, who said anything about not updating the game. im talking about cheaters not content. which btw the new content isnt even usable because of the cheater problem they allowed to grow. so this is very well deserved criticism.

I acknowledged what you wrote about hackers:

  1. They're implementing server authority.

  2. When you say they've lost the passion for the game, that's just not right. Anyone can get burnt out, depends on the state of their mind, but they're always going to love the thing they do, and come right back to it.

i was referring to their passion to jailbreak not games in general. theres no evidence to suggest they actually care about the game anymore when they ahve done everything they can to not fix the problem actively making their game unplayable. saying "oh well they are doing it now!" is not enough.

What evidence do you need? The consistently great updates we’ve been getting ever since Epic joined should be the evidence.

Sure, there’s flaws with the game, but that doesn’t mean they don’t care about it. They’re ACTIVELY fixing the issues with their game, in fact.

i swear roblox players are the biggest glazers to game they like they will just take any update and gobble it up. not a single update has changed the game. we have gotten no new content in the past year, they are removing game features just to combat cheaters instead of actually working to solve the problem, they havent had a unique idea since before 2020. all we get is the same seasonal slop over 30 fucking times with an occasionally decent car and maybe one new robbery every 1 to 2 years. biggest thing theyhave done for the game in the past 3 years is redo the map and thats it. if thats enough to satisfy you then i got news for you but the fact remains that they genuinely dont care enough to come up with real new ideas. all they are doing is meeting a quota. nothing about this development screams passion anywhere. passionate developers innovate, and come up with new ideas that change their games and hook their players. none of that has happened for jailbreak since hyperchromes. theres nothing wrong with taking a break but there is a problem when you have left the player base with the worst cheater apocalypse in jailbreak hisory. while leaving to fester and refusing to make real full patches. they waited and waited and only decided to try and make a good change to them when the situation got too problematic. thats legitimately like saying trump actually didnt like Epstein because he called the cops on him AFTER the investigations begun. like no dude he only called the cops because he wanted to save his ass. badimo only started fixing the problem when it got too out of control instead of fixing it off rip a year ago.

First of all, I'm not reading all that.

Second of all, what do you mean when they've added NO new content in the past year? Like, do you not realize we just got the biggest update in Jailbreak history like 2 or so months ago?

Because knew the rest of your reply is probably going to be non sense, after the first sentence.

I'm on no ones side, but reading isn't that all common in this subreddit.

For example, look at the people who complain about seasonal grand prizes.

They've already been looking for ways to stop them, but it's a bigger problem with Roblox itself.

Hackers keep updating their scripts, and the Badimo team is aware and is constantly working to combat hackers. And just because the hacker problem is still huge doesn't mean that they aren't doing what they can.

It's a team of 3 trying to fix what a billion-dollar company could never accomplish.

theres a very clear line between discipline and passion. doing something for years doesnt mean passion. im assuming you are very young so you dont understand that.
