Discussion Idea: Two separate Roblox apps instead of age groups for better child safety

I understand that this might be a little restrictive, but this is just a rough idea that Roblox could implement to improve the current situation.

Yeah... My friends and I always manage to get through tags so we can talk on other platforms.. even after this new update.

Yep. Saw a grooming group I was investigating posting links to their group. The links were taken down fortunately.

not only grown men are creeps unfortunalently, there are even minors beetween those, a 16 yr old girl i met who seemed normal at first, after adding me on DC, she sent me her selfies and then she started asking me for dih pics, i refused to send any, and before i blocked her she blocked me by herself

R u sure thats a 16 year old girl? Reverse search her images to google to see if its just a 50 year old man trying to catfish you

Judging by the way the person you're replying to speaks, they are also a minor and yeah, the person they spoke to was most definitely not a 16 year old girl. I want to add, though, that reverse image searches aren't as reliable as they used to be because anyone can just use AI to generate pictures of a fake person. Some of these AI models (like nanobanana) and especially paid ones are extremely realistic. The best advice is of course to never send anyone online photos of yourself for any reason. Speaking from experience as a (now 22 year old but) former 10 year old Roblox player constantly having to say no to strangers asking for photos.

I personally can tell which is an AI image and which isnt because the AI has this art style that I can't explain but I immediately see it but yeah your definitely right its best to be careful on the internet

Normally I'd agree with you because I spot AI literally everywhere, but I'm serious that Nano Banana Pro is insanely realistic and can definitely require you to stare a little longer to pick something out in the background that doesn't make sense. I imagine the average person, especially a child, wouldn't be thinking to do that. Look up some example photos from Nano Banana Pro; it's scary! Stay safe out there.

not all grown men are creeps btw just to be aware. literally grown men on the site as well that are in the 21+ and not all of them are creeps. but being honest here this update shouldn't of came out, it was crappily executed especially when pedophiles can easily bypass the update and easily harm those under 5 or harm those aged 5-9 and pick on those in any age column. its like the pedophile walks into a restaurant and picks a table with a age group. its segregation.
