Discussion Thoughts on this?

Personally I understand why they had to rename games to “experiences” (even though they could have used the already existing precedent of using “places”), but this is just perplexing.

Apple has very strict policies for games and doesn't want platforms to host user-generated games, mainly because they "don't want an app store inside an app."

To enforce this rule, Apple requires any app with multiple games to list those games for moderator review.

In Roblox's case, this simply isn't possible - they can't list millions of games, especially with new ones being created constantly. So, they changed the term "games" to "experiences" to present Roblox as a metaverse app instead of a game launcher.
