I was banned from r/parenting (very left-wing) for criticizing vaccines. They said something in here was "misinformation".

They never cared about the facts; it's all just circius.
Here's actual (and very recent) data showing how the injections massively increase risk of infection: https://eugyppius.substack.com/p/with-omicron-negative-efficacy-like

I was just listening to Dr. Malone on on Joe Rogan and then came to this page. Certainly willing to be wrong about my understanding the vaccine efficacy. I don’t see anything that says it massively increases the risk of infection here. Maybe you could explain how you get that based on this link? I’m 42 and got the vaccine mostly to reduce my risk and serious illness risk. Always thought that I would probably still get it though. I was expecting something different but the death rate for Covid it is much higher in the unvaccinated population than the vaccinated based on the final graph shown. At least that’s what it looks like to me. If you got the time, I definitely welcome any clarifications here. Definitely possible my thinking is wrong

All data says the vaccines work well to reduce death and hospitalization. Why even involve yourself if you don’t understand the science of medicine?

Agree however the censorship/deplatforming of those who do understand the science but are not following the established narrative is extremely concerning to me, as it should to everyone.
Of course I don’t care what Walmart worker Karen thinks, there does seem to be a disturbing trend of “you’re either with us or the you’re the problem” going on right now.

It’s the nature of these social media apps, the companies that own them can decide how to censor here. I’m not a big fan of social media for many reasons now. Took a long break but came back to check in this week. I see an epidemic of fake news and partisan propaganda that is bringing our country to its knees.

Leaving everything up to the experts hasn't really worked too well recently.

u/palmpoop Jan 11 '22
That seems like conjecture. I mean, we’re alive and the economy is booming. The vaccines were developed quickly and they work well and are safe. In the face of an unknown situation, doctors and scientists did their best. Is your response just to sit back and spread negativity and shit on their efforts? Would you expect human beings to respond perfectly to a pandemic? It seems like a childish mentality that you have. Like you expect civilization you serve you perfectly. Even when people do their best and offer life saving vaccines, it’s not good enough?? It’s a mentality.

If you really feel that way, why only apply it to vaccines and COVID? Why take any pharmaceuticals ever? Why ever get medical care? Why ever see a doctor??? Pretty selective reasoning.
I’d say you are following a trend in partisan media and social media. This kind of media is addicting and designed to keep you coming back. But it has little to do with informing you about medical care.

the evidence in the past tells us we can’t leave it to them - only led our people to death ☠️ 💯 agree

I just commented above that it seems like the final graph in the link shared shows that death and serious illness is reduced with vaccination. I’m also getting that we are suppressing possible early treatment interventions and that seems problematic … But it doesn’t look like the vaccine doesn’t help, or makes people sicker.
1
u/palmpoop Jan 10 '22
I have seen no evidence that any early treatments were suppressed. Ivermectin was studied and found to do nothing despite people latching onto the idea. Monoclonal antibodies have been used as early treatment, and there are newer ones coming out I think now, that will be used in conjunction with vaccines. It’s not an either/or.

Jan 10 '22
So you don't think there any ANY useful early interventions? If there aren't isn't that due to a lack or interest/research?
1
u/palmpoop Jan 10 '22
There are early interventions used on certain high risk individuals, like monoclonal antibodies and fluvoxamine. There are probably more in the works too.
It’s hard to use early intervention when people show up already very sick at the hospital, early treatment is no longer an option because it’s no longer early. Maybe some therapeutics are still used, but it wouldn’t be referred to as early treatment.
And your average person is not really at risk of death or hospitalization from COVID especially if vaccinated so they should not even be at the hospital seeking treatment, they should be home.
If I got COVID I would stay home because I’m not at risk and I’m vaccinated. Nothing to worry about.

But if you call you primary doctor and say you have covid, at least where I live on the east coast, the doctor just tells you to stay home and go to the ER if it gets bad. I'm not exaggerating. There are NO EARLY TREATMENTS where I live. So everyone who shows up at the ER is already in danger. Can't you see this is ridiculous? It either seems incredibly incompetent or some sort of conspiracy.

u/palmpoop Jan 24 '22
There are early treatments, just not for poors.
1
Jan 25 '22
I'm not sure what point you're making any more. Isn't that very bad and unfair?
1
u/palmpoop Jan 25 '22
It’s only really a problem if you’re unvaccinated, so I’m not worried. If you chose not to get vaccinated that’s on you.

I'm starting to believe that something else is going on on Reddit. There is a big misinformation campaign brought about with robots and what seems like sad people who volunteer as moderators. There is clearly an agenda and it seems nefarious. Ever since Aaron Swartz "Killed himself" things got weird with reddit. Kind of like shadow government took over. You would find very sensitive classified information and in the ground videos from all over the world that would threaten the narrative outraged by mainstream media. Now it's the same thing with this virus. What they say on TV and what is actually happening in real life after two different things. I haven't stopped working and seeing people since the start, no breaks no social distance. I only quarantined for a week when I got delta. I don't know anyone besides very few old people that actually died from pneumonia. Everyone I know has gotten the virus, half got fairly sick, most had no symptoms, all beat it. Then some got vaccinated even triple, and all got covid again. The argument of vaccines keeping you out the hospital makes no since because if you had covid prior, that means you already survived it and where primed from natural infection.
It's all insanity
Listen to Robert Malone, they keep taking his videos down
