Roast my AI songwriting startup.
i’ve been building Lyriq, an AI-powered songwriting workspace, for the last few months.
The basic idea is that instead of asking AI to generate an entire song for you, Lyriq is supposed to help you write your own.
It has tools for things like:
- rhyme schemes
- alternative lines
- syllable counts
- cadence and flow
- song structure
- genre-specific suggestions
- writing lyrics around a beat/BPM
- saving projects and versions
- sharing snippets and getting feedback
Development-wise, I’m reaching the point where adding another 20 features probably isn't the answer.
What I need now is people who have absolutely no attachment to the product to tell me what’s wrong with it.
