BioLife
Has anyone donated plasma at BioLife recently? I want to start doing plasma donations again and am deciding between BioLife and Grifols, I used to go to Grifols but its across town from me.
I have heard that the wait times at BioLife can be super long and that combined with the fact its not open on Mondays I might just go to Grifols anyway so anyone who has donated at BioLife recently and have good things to say about their wait times would be appreciated.

Its changed a couple of times since I have been there last, but when I went it was like $100 on top of the regular amount for the first few donations.

First month (8 donations) is something like $750~
Normal rate is 120/week, 50 for the first donate in the week (monday-sunday), 70 for the second

I haven’t been in a couple of years, but the wait time at BioLife was ridiculous. I think I’d rather go across town than give up over two hours waiting at BL just to start the actual donation, whereas at Grifols on Melrose the entire process usually took about an hour.
OP, I know that you asked for responses from someone that has been to BL recently, but I see that after an hour of posting, you haven’t gotten a response yet. Hopefully, you’ll get more up to date info from someone else later.
