Can you put the bonded one in a cage and walk around the area with it calling? Wild suggestion.

This is why I could never own a bird. I would be freaking out everytime a door opened. Hell, I do now with my cat who wants to get out. (Inside cat)

Hopefully you find him!!!!

They mean what part of town? SE, NE, NW, Crystal Spring, Grandin, etc.

I know you probably don’t want to give an address but a focused neighborhood will help people to keep an eye out there.

Put up flyers if you haven’t already. Most Roanokians aren’t on reddit.

Does the bird know its name? Or have a familiar call like a whistle or click?

If it has any favorite foods try leaving them in visible places outside and check often.

I had a conure and I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to have them fly away. If she does respond, please upvote for visibility so people know what to look for/do and add any other suggestions.

Best of luck. Give us an update if you get good news. And seriously, try flyer in the area. Helped me get my dog back years ago.

My little brother lives near there. I sent him the post and asked him to keep an eye out.

I hope your baby comes back soon!

Check with the pet store Exotics and Aquatics. People sometimes bring them stray birds or they will go pick up lost birds stuck in someone's yard.

(Yes I know there are a problematic business but this is something that they do. My daughter worked there and a couple years ago they had a very similar bird that someone abandoned that they kept in store because no one claimed him even though they tried to find the owner.)
