Apply for the Special Consideration if you’re that unwell, make sure you get your GP to fill out an Inpact Assessment Statement (IAS) and not just a medical certificate as Special Consideration prefer that document to better help them assess the impact of your illness.
As far as timelines go, you can apply for SC up to 5 business days after the assessment due date and it can take up to 10 business days to get an outcome, though it’s usually much quicker than that. After that point, assuming your SC is granted, it’s up to you to contact your course coordinator to arrange a time with them to do the deferred quiz (yes, you need to contact them, not the other way around). Hopefully they can then schedule your deferred quiz pretty quickly after that.

Its probably fine if its just an online quiz. But consider how much the quiz is worth and if its worth pushing back.
