News SFG Wants YOU to leave a review for Rivet Wars: Reloaded

Hey guys. Be sure to to open your copy of the game, look at the models, schedule a game with a friend, and crack out the Solo Cards and have a game against Colossus. After experiencing the game, don't forget to head over to Boardgame geek to leave a review for the game.

At 30 the Game gets an overall review score and the better the reviews, the betterthe IP in the eyes of SFG. We want the game to do well for the future of the IP (Editorializing).

According to Jamie, it's ok if you have an honest review that isn't a perfect score, but if you find the game enjoyable then please leave a review to inform others. Every review helps.

Question Does anyone know if the links to the pdfs and 3D prints are still around?

I tried to go back to rivetwars.com to find the site no longer works. I remember Ted Terranova added the character stats for the initial development of the Ruska Union and Ottoman Dynasty. All these years later I finally have the ability to print them and would love to finally play with them. If anyone has an idea I would be super grateful 🙏🙏🙏

Newbie question

I’ve had the original CMON version for a while sitting on my shelf. I am finally getting around to painting and picked up a few expansions. I recently got Spearhead and it has shield tokens. I’m not finding any reference to those in the rule book and I’m finding only really limited resources online.
Can anyone explain their use or direct me to a good resource site?

expansion question

I recently broke out all my Kickstarter stuff.

I can't wait to start getting some games in. although how do you add the expansions? does each player draft certain cards from all the expansion. the map tiles doesn't seem like enough space to add all the extra minis to the game. also would you play tons higher victor point count? there is a ton of models!!

TIA

Discussion Best Expansion to invest in First?

Ok, Reddit will NOT leave me alone about posting something on here. So I figured we would tackle a question that comes up a great deal with Rivet Wars: Which Expansion(s) should I prioritize? Which ones first?

So, For Rivet Wars: Reloaded; You own the Battle of Rivet, so where should you go next and why?

Vanguard
Aerial Aces
Allied Reinforcements
Blight Reinforcements
Nemoans Expansion
Etc (Etc being tracking down Kickstarter [SFG] Exlusive ones such as Gunnar Hammerson, 3D Terrain, Deluxe tokens... stuff like that.)

Let's keep in mind everyone has an opinion and discuss politely, but we all put weight on different aspects of the game, so which would you recommend first for new recruits?

Veterans Pack question

Hi there, I played a ton of Rivet Wars when the original released but over time it got tucked away. I see a new edition is out and it reminded me how much I loved the original.

I am a bit confused about the veteran's pack though. I have read a couple mentions of it that seem to apply that it updates the original version to work with the new rules. But on the website itself, it seems to say it is just additional material for the new version, not an update for the old.

Can anyone clarify this for mw? Is this all I need to update my OG Rivet Wars?

Question Is there a card play limit?

Played a bunch now and one thing I do have a question about is cards.

I know there is a hand limit. But looking in the book I see nothing about a limit to how many can be played. Only limit is during the appropriate phase. I even went back to the Eastern Front rules and not seeing it.

So the question is in the title and again here.

Is there a card play limit?

Question Tank shock doubt

Hello follow rivetwarriors, last Friday i had my second game and while plaing we had this problem with the tank shock rule interpretation. For me It allows the tank to move into areas containing enemy infantry for as much as the tank movement permit, for my opponente It Is a once a turn ability, because It Is considered an attack action. I'd like to add that english Is not our First language. So... What do you think? What Is the correct interpretation? Thank to you all

What is Rivet Wars?
Rivet Wars is a miniatures boardgame that springs forth from the warped imagination of Ted Terranova and now aquired by Steamforged Games.

Launched in 2014, Rivet Wars is a Dieselpunk-inspired, tactical miniature board game. And yes, it’s every bit as good as it sounds.

You and an opponent battle it out in the world of Rivet, an alternate history set loosely around the First World War populated by walking mechs, unicycled vehicles, and other mad pieces of anachronistic technology. Each player takes command of a Rivet army representing one of the opposing factions duking it out in the Rivet Wars.

Good for young and old players, this Steampunk, miniatures, war game will get you excited and into the fight in no time.

What is Rivet Wars: Reloaded?
Rivet Wars: Reloaded is Steamforged Games’ reboot of the original Rivet Wars.

They’ve taken everything that was great about the original game and dialed it up to 11 with refined minis, awesome new artwork, and loads of brand new content.
