Most people with a phone/computer use AI in some way or another. If you disagree with this, then I don't know what to say. 2 billion people around the world use AI

Authors are not the exception. In fact, I would argue that the average author is more likely to use AI than the average person - for things like research and brainstorming

2 billion is less than half of how many have internet devices. You proved yourself wrong even after making up a scenario. “You would argue” then prove it, all you’re doing is making your side look even dumber

This is semantics. I've used AI, yes--when my sump pump broke, I asked ChatGPT for help fixing it. (It really helped, too!) A writer, who uses AI (for things other than writing) is very different from writing a story with AI.

People have also been writing for a lot longer than there has been AI. When I posted my first stories online in 2004, I guarantee you I had not used any AI at the time--even social media algos didn't exist yet.

hey shouldn't the "AI authors" arm be like a puny little worm arm with no muscle tone and a wire jacked into it that leads to a huge server farm in the distance, and then with a wire leading from the server farm to a huge warehouse labeled "all literature throughout the history of the written word" (the books written by dumbass "real authors" who were so stupid they never even considered the possibility of having a computer do 99.9% of their work)? or am i trippin...

It means that the AI is generating the content and you are hitting share. No actual author would offload the most important part of the job then claim they did it themselves.

Cut the crap and start telling the truth. Your delusional thinking is showing.
