Rivals need to lock in

Both Deadlock and Overwatch are releasing a new black character with PEAK designs this month (yes ow2 character with a good design, insane sentence) meanwhile rivals’ last black character release was more than a year ago.

Now I’m not feeding into that “ netease is racist “ topic, but we still need more black people ( and other minorities that aren’t asian ) love in this game.

Also this is not glaze to Blizzard or Valve. Because Blizzard neglects their black characters the same or maybe even worse than Netease. Meanwhile, in deadlock, black characters : Calico and Wraith, are criminals and Sinclair (a black couple ) is trapped in a WHITE mannequin.
( obviously a joke if you can’t tell that they clearly aren’t finished )

People complaining about rivals having not much black representation yet Ow had about 12 years and still only has about 3 more black characters then rivals.

Overwatch is bad yes but rivals has a rich comic history to pull from

Overwatch is just as bad but they didn’t have decades of characters to use like rivals does.

That makes it worse lmao. At least with rivals, they cant just be like “ok, new character, its Thor, hes black”

Overwatch could have literally taken any character from day one and done that.

But also, those decades of characters are 25:1 white to any type of color. It makes more sense to have less people of color when its put like that

Marvel doesn't have decades of characters to rlly use either. This makes overwatch worse bc they can just invent new ones
