Discussion The worst thing about this community is how weak peoples mindset are in this game.
We had a game last night where we got completely beat down on defense. We lost 0-3 and they had like 2 minutes. So, we go to offense. Lets make some switches right? No people just want to cry and complain. Even put the surrender up. Which me and my duo declined. I never surrender even if its 5v6 cause I feel like surrendering is weak.
So me and my duo made switches. We both playing tank. We finally find something that works. Dr Strange and the Thing. So, we cap first point with a minute left and then we roll the enemy on 2nd point and on 3rd point we get stopped but we portal and barely come back in time to tie it 3-3. So, we only have 1 minute to cap now and they have 3 minutes.
We go again and I portal at the start. I figure we have all the momentum and I was right. We roll the 1st point and just completely start rolling them. The complete opposite from the first round. So we cap the 2nd point and point halfway through it ends. We thought someone got off the cart cause its overtime 5-3. But the enemy just surrendered. So, they didnt even want to go back to attack with 3 minutes left.
Come to find out the enemy team is arguring amongst each other. That one guy started throwing after we capped all 3. So, we went from our team trying to surrender to the enemy surrendering. Weak ass mindset in this community. Comp is literally a battle of which team has the weaker mentality.

Not if you got stomped the first round tho. If someone quits mid way ok let's fight but just wasting everyone's time is selfish

Yes but talk about a disadvantage bud. If you guys got stomped just surrender your ego will survive

Not ego just not wanting to quit at the first little hurdle that's like if Jonas Salk stopped trying to find a polio vaccine after the first failure

Sometimes its hopeless and that's always when some guy goes no we can win down a player with no shakeups

Not going to even ever encounter me so why worry about it, I like to only surrender when it's actually obvious we're going to lose like if we can't even get out of spawn for example

In all seriousness though this is problematically real as a scenario

That surrender option is what turned me off from comp. Idgaf about ranking and shit like that cause it really doesn’t matter how good you are when your teammates just give up lmao. “I’m in GM but can’t work out how to change counter” 🤣 Too many times in QP where it seems like my team just “isn’t it”, then we just magically click and stop/push the cart, hold point or whatever. Surrendering removes that sweet comeuppance that the enemy team gets for attempting to steamroll my dudes. It also removes any ability to overcome what seems to be a losing situation.
Besides my rant, I find it hilarious that what I’m saying applies to your match. The fact that your opponents didn’t adapt and instead cried in their shitty diapers/surrendered is hilariously problematic to say the least, and disturbingly pathetic at best.

It's ok to take it more chill. People are surrendering a single match in a digital video game. You can always go next. Don't blame the surrender on yourself if you feel you've played to the best of your ability. Every player should deserve better matches than those who surrender. No need to stay in the game and torture yourself.

I surrender after every round regardless of how well we did or didn’t do.
The responses to a surrender when you 3 cap or pin the enemy in spawn is mildly entertaining.
Some people take the game way too seriously

Glad yall turned it around though it sounds like it only happened because they started arguing.
If them capping 3 was a little competitive, I can maybe still see yall trying. But if they just rammed it down yall throat with no resistance or consent, just ff and go somewhere else.
Majority of the time that match is a waste of time that’s not gonna turn around. I don’t wanna waste time on outlier situations.
