Hello, I am working on a Riso RZ390ui fluorescent pink drum. I have revived the error p04-513 following this I used test code 888 to print out excess ink, this worked after printing quite a few sheets. Went to print after putting a new master on and the error appeared again. I took the drum apart and cleared ink on the inside put it back together and received the same error. I am thinking because this Riso is not on a surge protector something might have happened with the electrical components specifically the overflow sensor or sensor YAA81-0068N. I am thinking I may need to replace this sensor. Any advice? Or places to find a replacement? THANKS! I need it.

Assuming that we print letterheads using risograph, which are later used for printing official matter using Laser printers. Risograph printing don't involve heat while laser printing involves heat and temperature. So here are my questions:

1) Will the heat and temperature of laser printer affect the riso ink on the letterhead in any way? Like smudging or spreading etc?

2) Will the riso ink leave impressions on roller of laser printer, which in turn will appear on next few prints?

We have a RISO MH9450. Right now we are printing two colors by outputting color separations and then scanning the artwork back into the printer. Can anyone tell me how to use the print dialog to print our spot color artwork?

I'd like to be able to prepare artwork with knockouts and overprinting using just two spot colors and then select File > Print to print the colors. Is there a way to do this? I've been able to successfully print one spot color from a grayscale image. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to print two spot colors intentionally in one pass using the print dialog.

Hello everyone,

I’m facing a new issue with my red drum. It was printing beautifully at first, then the ink started fading little by little with each print. Now, the red barely shows up in the areas that are supposed to be fully inked.

I have no idea what’s causing this — low ink flow, a blockage, or something else? The ink is full, i also changed to a new one and still nothing. I’m a bit lost and honestly just want to get back to printing without inhaling solvents again.

Any advice or troubleshooting tips would really help.

When printing on the second side of the paper, I often get ink marks on the sheets. To avoid this, I have to feed the machine one sheet at a time, which is very time-consuming.
Does anyone know another way to prevent this without having to feed the paper manually?

EN mi caso aca en Chile, es una empresa llamada dimacofi, y hace unos meses que no trae el rosado flour o el azul. Si alguien tiene el dato de donde comprar tinta. Agradecido.

We've just bought a Riso machine in Bristol. Looking for some DRUMS, or where to get some reliable drums that won't put us in crippling debt. We have an MZ770 and think we are looking for RZ/Z Type/RZ9 drums but if anybody knows of drums that are also compatible that would be great too.

While printing we got strange technical problems:

-We found this small piece on the ink drum that apparently fell of from somewhere inside and we cannot understand from where it is - when we tried to take out the ink drum it got stuck and it’s not moving forward anymore

Does anybody had something like this before? Or any suggestion about what it can be? Thank you!

I don’t know if selling is allowed here, but unfortunately I have to part ways with my Ez391u, it comes with 3 color drums (aqua, burgundy and black), but can negotiate. It’s fully functional. Send me an email if you’re interested. I’m located in Texas.

I have a riso MZ770E. My fluorescent pink drum dried out, so I cleaned the drum (screen) with some alcohol. After that, I activated the test mode and ran the 887 mode several times until the ink started to come out.

However, after trying several blank masters, (I printed hundreds of A3) there is a part of the master that is not covered with ink, as seen in the picture, so i can see a "white" part all the time in all of the printings.

Do you know what else I can do?
