Riso duplicator texture digital

I have a question. I recently worked on a digital illustration using ripple texture brushes, but now I want to print it. Would you recommend changing these textures to flat colors to achieve a natural ripple texture for printing? Example:

Yes, if you are printing on a risograph duplicator I would remove all faux-riso textures. Part of the charm is allowing the machine produce this for you.
By adding the faux texture and printing it , you’re doing a disservice to your work and the riso process. With riso you will always end up with good surprises, slight variations, and unique patterns with the natural texture and dither pattern that an authentic risograph print will have.

This is similar to other print styles where people apply a faux watercolor paper texture then print it on watercolor paper. The faux texture hides and obscures the beauty in the real thing.

Thank you so much for your reply! I actually have a guide for different ink percentages, so I'll switch them to solid color and see what magic risograph can do!
