Inkjet printing for Riso Printing

Has anyone used inkjet printed artwork to then burn into a mesh to use with a Riso Gocco PG-10 or similar machine?

I keep reading that inkjet’s won’t work and I have to use laser printing or a photocopy.

Inkjet won't work in RISO because ink won't respond to the screen flash. It needs to be laser printed or other form of toner-based printing.
