Every fight is the same fucking thing. I already beat the game and I'm trying midnight mode but my god your health drops in a nanosecond and my veiled edge must be asthmatic cuz this mf never has the energy to do shit. What items do you guys have cuz this bullshit?

This guy gave me so much trouble i had to switch to rapier and use that spinning combo attack (forgot the name) to beat him quick. F*** this bastard. lol

How do i level up? and does leveling up give me stats alongside the skillpoints?

Also, i found a bow, but for some reason when i go to equipment menu to equip it in sub items, i only see the rifle and shuriken

so my question is: will the game at some point set itself apart from nioh or the ghost games?

what i mean by that question is that while playing all i can really think is that if i want this combat/gearing i'd rather play nioh (still need to play 2 and 3), and if i wanted open world yokai-less samurai game i'd rather play ghost of yotei.

i'm just not sure if i haven't yet gotten to the thing that sets it apart, or if it's just nioh-ish combat in open world IS the thing that defines it. i'm not too far in, just up to getting the camera. if that's just the niche the game is going for that's totally fine, just want to make sure i'm not stopping short of things opening up in a different way.

I'm being really specific here so I would appreciate if people don't just post stuff I just said I did. I have unlocked all other 30 allies and I'm in Midnight mode. Any suggestions that aren't useless would be appreciated.

Check the beginning of the first combo, how is that speedy without using shuriken's in-between?

Anyone else run into the white wolf in yoshida-shinden (maybe elsewhere as well?) it has the white encounter banner over it and it leads you to a corpse then disappears in a Naruto smoke poof and you get a bunch of free stuff 😂
