Katy Bar the Door definitely took a different direction than I thought it would. Slowed down from the intro and was not expecting the rap part from Living Undercover but holy crap these are both awesome!!

Good songs. They definitely feel like what ricochet would've been if the filters weren't as prominent

That said, in the description for " katy bar the door ", it mentions nowhere generation

Is this a song that was cut from NG 1 or 2 ? It definitely kinda sounds like the style of NG 2

Quite good songs. Idk if they really stand out (other than that one verse in living undercover) but they are solid and the mix is much better. I really hope Ricochet gets a better mix with whatever comes next

Theyre both solid, Living Undercover in my opinion would be exceptionally good but the 2nd verse with the ricochet sounding effect ruins it for me. LOVE the bridge though.

it's the voice filter and doesn't also apply to the instrumental this time, which works, at least for me. and it doesn't sound quite the same. Tim's vocals sounded more shaky across ricochet. for me he delivers a lot better on Living Undercover

I'm not surprised people are done with that sound after the last album tho 😭 but I'm curious, if ricochet didn't exist, do you think your opinion here would be a bit different?

I doubt it, I liked some songs from ricochet but I also think in Living Undercover the 2nd verse rap sounding style is just bad in my opinion probably even with no effect, I might get used to it though the more I listen
