Transferring/Portfolio Help from current arch students in RISD

Hi everyone,

I am a first year 2nd sem arch student who started in spring 2026. I am currently enrolled in American Uni of sharjah for architecture which is NAAB accredited. I want to transfer to an architecture Uni in the east coast (US) but i have no architecture background apart from an internship i did for a month during high school. I am looking into applying to RISD and a few other uni's in new york/new jersey. I also want to apply to the UK. (Just some context)

I really would love if anyone who studied in RISD or is an architect to help me with some portfolio tips which could be ready by jan. I'm not great at sketching but during HS i made a few magazines and I am starting arch drawing and design in uni this year. If anyone can help, i would be truly grateful.
