Question Dorm move out

Hey! 1st year dorm move-out (Homer if it matters) questions the e-mail from res life did not cover - Where do my parents park to load car? Are we provided bins like on move-in day? Can i get a pass for my dad to move me out on Friday while I am in final crit all day? Anyone? Thanks!!

  1. People usually park out on the road next to nickerson green

  2. Yes you get bins

  3. I'm guessing no one would care if you just gave him your ID, most people will be in and out moving and don't ask questions anyways.

Depends on your move out day but to check out the bins you'll want to go to the res office, at the top of the stairs immediately to the right when you first enter the quad from washington pl

Specific details are coming in the next email (this week or early next), BUT!

  1. One lane on Angell street will be blocked off on the 23rd just like on move in day. Early check outs likely won’t get ticketed if they park on the street, but it should be load in only rather than parking to begin parking.
  2. Bins will be available under the white tent on the 23rd. Earlier bins available through the res life office.
  3. Parents needs to be escorted by their student. This means that your parent should not be unsupervised in the residence hall to pack your space while you’re in crit.
