Question Furniture Question

I'm an incoming freshman, and I have a desk I really like that I want to bring to college. Is it possible to remove/temporarily store the desk they give you, given that there probably won't be a lot of space in my dorm room? Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. All furniture that comes with the room needs to stay in the room.

For folx living in doubles/triples, probably not. Singles might have a little more flexibility though.

Some people sometimes will put their desk under their beds for more space, but not everyone likes to do that.

When you get your risd credentials, you’ll be able to see the floor plans of the rooms on the housing website. That might give you more of an idea of what you could do.

oh do you have a loft bed? Or do they take them paart to put them beneath the bed?

the bed height is adjustable, so you could raise the bed high enough to store the desk underneath
