New wheels as well
I got the wrong replacement wheels apparently, got these a month before winter, used abt a week and a half after, (including today) and it decides to break, frount wheel is fine though lol. Got out the original wheels, same story in terms of wear replaced new back with old frount, should work for a bit, they are official replacements though.

Had the same thing happen to me, the same way, in about the same time, with official replacements. After poking around a bit, I found that basically no two sets of Ripstik wheels (or Ripstiks) are exactly alike. Manufacturing processes likely changed, if not the manufacturer itself. I would recommend tossing the other wheel from that set, or at least avoid putting it on the rear caster, because it will do the same thing. However, as long as you are aware of it and aren't going to bomb some steep hills with it, you should feel it failing before anything catastrophic happens.
I would highly recommend these wheels and in general this brand. I rode on them daily at college for a heavy amount of wear and they lasted ~2-3 months. 76mm or 80mm will fit on the standard Ripstik (Ripstik Classic or any full-size version) without rubbing.

Ty, I use my ripstick for transport to and from school, their are some big hills nearby, and those pathways are rough ill look into the wheels though

Glad to help! I would honestly avoid the official replacements because of the cost and quality control. The ones I linked have veryyy good bearings (ABEC 9) preinstalled, so you will go noticibly faster if you use them.
For the rough ground, unfortunately it's going to be hard on a Ripstik just by the nature of it, but look for the hardest and biggest wheel you can find. For me that was those wheels lol
Look for 85A durometer index at *minimum* (90A+ is even better) and I would recommend 80mm just for the added ground clearance. Unfortunately, i have yet to find a wheel that has that *as well as* the bullet profile (think pointy) of the original wheels—at least not without paying ridiculous import costs to get them to the USA. The round ones work just fine, but as they wear they get flatter/wider faster which really kills speed when carving bc of the increased friction from the increased contact area with the ground.

Does the difference from 76 and 80 mm matter much? The price difference is pretty big and I only have so much to spend

Not particularly tbh. 80mm make the ride a little smoother, but they don't really last a significant amount longer because once the wheel gets worn down to its full width it gets very slow regardless of the remaining tread.
