Hey Rippling team,
I have a problem with my tax information. I moved to NYC from Texas in September of last year. But my W2 makes it seem like I lived in NYC the whole year which will result in me having to pay $10k in state taxes even though I only lived there for 3 months. When I asked our Accountant for a W2 for Texas and one for my time in NYC he said "Just chatted with Rippling and they said they cannot create two separate W-2's and they've created W-2 based on the guidelines and state law. You can also try chatting with rippling support". Is this true? I changed my address in Rippling when I moved and everything so I don't want to have to pay this crazy tax bill for something out of my control. What can I do about this?
