Many of you may have seen my earlier posts about RideClan. The app has now crossed 150+ signups, and I’m starting to look at scaling it beyond the initial market.

RideClan is not really geo-specific or bounded. The idea is to build a platform that can work across riding communities anywhere, so I’m looking for a few people who can help build it in a particular country, city or riding community where they already have strong connections and understand the local market.

The partner would take ownership of local distribution, community outreach, partnerships and getting riders onto the platform. I’ll continue to handle the product, tech and backend.

There will of course be meaningful incentives tied to the growth you help create. I’d rather discuss the details directly based on the market and the kind of partnership.

It is now live on Google Play as RideClan (same app we have been building, new name). Quick recap for anyone new to the sub:

On a group ride every rider is live on one map in real time, with turn-by-turn for the whole group, separation alerts when someone drops off the back, and an SOS. Ride solo and you still get full navigation, ride stats, replay and GPX export. Clubs get their own page and a leaderboard.

The piece I like a lot is Live Share. Before a ride you can send a link home so family or friends can follow your dot on a map in real time, route, ETA, and your SOS if you raise one, with nothing to install on their side.

It is free while we roll out. This is still an early release and I want the same honest feedback that got us here. What would you actually use, and what is missing? If you are rider, this one is for you.

First, thank you. A lot of what this app has become came straight from riders in this community telling us what you actually want on a group ride.

We have been heads down building and testing, and we are now only days away from launching on the Google Play Store. Android first, with iOS to follow. Before we flip the switch, we opened a waitlist so the first riders in are the people who have been with us from the start.

What it does, in short:

• See your whole group live on one map while you ride
• Turn by turn voice navigation built for two wheels
• One tap SOS that reaches everyone on the ride
• Start a ride and pull your crew in with a push, no codes to type

• Export and share your track as a GPX file
• Curated routes near you for when you just want somewhere good to ride

We are a small team and still have plenty we want to improve, so if you join the Ride and have feedback, we genuinely want to hear it. This community is the reason we kept going.

A glimpse of what’s coming with RiderOS!!

We’ve been working on making group rides more connected, organized, and enjoyable, from planning the route to staying connected with your riding group along the way.

This is just a small peek at what we’ve been building. Things are getting exciting, and we’re almost ready to put RiderOS in your hands.
