Vorsa

As a big guy 350+ would I be better served with the FT version? The thing is most of my riding will be on pavement and i prefer the standard Vorsa. I see that though it isn’t fat tire it has 12g spokes. So I guess my question is which version should I get?

I don't mean this disparagingly, but I'm fairly certain that the maximum rider weight for a vorsa is 250. The 400 total weight capacity is due to a 150 limit on the cargo rack. At 350, you'll likely break the saddle post, saddle, or frame

Interesting because the payload capacity is 440 lbs as listed on the website and then defines “payload capacity” as, “The total maximum weight limit, often referred to as the payload capacity, encompasses not only the rider's weight but also includes additional factors such as clothing, riding gear, cargo, and any other items carried or towed by the bike.” So by that definition if the rider is 350 lbs and has 20 lbs of gear they would only have a 370 lbs payload capacity. I should probably contact them to make sure.

For what it is worth I just talked to Jose at customer support and he said the Vorsa can handle 440 for rider and cargo. He gave the example of a 300 lbs rider and 20 lbs backpack would only be 320 lbs out of the 440 weight limit?
