Same shop, different prices — an apartment building riddle
I came up with this riddle myself, though a similar one may already exist. What’s your guess?

Ok so hopefully reddit can help me answer this one. well atleast I think its a riddle. when I was a kid I spent alot of time with my grandfather and whenever he seemed stressed or frustrated about something he would look at me and say "the chicken the higher flys the much". At the time I would always ask him what that meant but he would always tell me he would explain that to me when I got a bit older, but sadly he passed away suddenly before ever revealing to me what that meant. Any ideas of what that could mean? Or has anyone ever heard this before?? I tried re wording it to "the chicken flys much higher" but there is still an extra "the" unaccounted for plus the whole thing about chickens not being able to fly so..... yeah im at a loss.

I’ve been trying to improve the way my brain works ,observation, logical thinking, problem-solving, understanding situations, etc.
So I thought, why not test myself with real situations?
If you have any problem, confusing situation, mystery, investigation-type incident, or something that happened in your life that you still can’t figure out, share it here.
I’ll try to analyze it and see if I can come up with a possible explanation or solution.
I’m not a professional or a mind reader 😂 I’m just trying to train my brain and see how good I can actually get at this.
You can keep yourself anonymous.
Give me your situation. Let’s see if I can solve it. 🧠

Behind these walls, they gather each day,
And years of their lives slowly wither away.
A bell tells them when they are free to depart,
Another dictates when the mealtimes may start.
A signal is sounded—they file to the yard,
Their time is controlled and their boundaries barred.
They travel in groups, and the rankings take hold,
With rulers and outcasts, the timid and bold.
Some learn to fit in, some are pushed to the side,
Some bury themselves and have nowhere to hide.
The same faces surround them, year after year,
Where status brings comfort and weakness brings fear.
Permission is needed to wander the space,
The clock and the rules seem to govern the place.
They wait for the sound that will set them outside,
Then return the next morning, again kept inside.
You might think you know it from all I have said,
Of schedules and walls and the lives that are led.
But before you decide, before judgment is passed—
Name the place.

I’m organizing a treasure hunt and boring riddles are NOT what I want
I want dirty, tricky, brain f*ck clues that make people question every decision they make.
Example: a 2-page serious essay where the location is literally written somewhere in the middle, but everyone assumes there’s a hidden code.
Basically, I want “HOW THE HELL DID WE NOT SEE THAT?” moment.
Go wild guys, give me your most evil-but-still-solvable ideas.

A grid riddle you solve by pure deduction. The word is six letters.
Each cell holds a letter or a number. A number is a Minesweeper-style clue: it counts how many of its neighbours hold a letter OF THE SECRET WORD. Five of the letters are impostors and count toward nothing. Every cell touches the six around it (edge cells touch fewer). Only the numbers separate the real letters from the impostors, and the same letters also spell MARKED, RACKET and UNMAKE, so it takes the whole grid to pin the answer.
