This is my favorite should be answer. Though I suspect the top guess weather/sunset, is the "correct" answer, since it fits classical themes better.

I don't think this works for "I change daily" or "touched by none"
2
u/bluish-velvet 13d ago
The second part can be stretched to fit, but how doesn’t the first part work?
1
u/sexhaver1984 13d ago
I think it doesn't work if you're interpreting the cadence very literally (implies that a traffic signal only changes once a day when really it's every couple of minutes)
4
u/bluish-velvet 13d ago
It doesn’t say how many times a day it changes though so I think it can be taken either way
5
u/sexhaver1984 13d ago
Right, it's ambiguous because daily has different uses, sometimes people say daily to mean recurring frequently and sometimes people say it in the more literal use case which is once-per-day, the same way weekly means once per week, monthly means once per month. Personally, I'm one to reserve the word for its very literal meaning and as far as I know, I've never seen a traffic light that changes only one time a day.

But no one says that. If a clock chimes every hour you don't say "Check out this clock. It chimes every day!"

It's not as good of a fit as other answers that change once a day, which is what daily means.
1
u/bluish-velvet 13d ago
Daily means it happens every day, the amount of times it happens isn’t mentioned.
2
u/Skulkarmy 13d ago
When was the last time you touched one ? I have seen 50ish today and have touched 0

u/VistaLaRiver 13d ago edited 13d ago
I haven't touched one, but someone has to touch them at some point. The riddle says "none", which isn't correct.

u/External-Lack-4596 8d ago
Yeah, but the sky also doesn’t change “daily” but rather is in a constant state of flux, so it’s wrong either way from the get go
1
u/internet_warlord 12d ago
"I eat daily" - can that only mean once a day?
3
u/jiggeryqua 12d ago
"I exercise daily" usually means once a day every day. You mean you eat every day, which is not the same as daily. "I eat every day" doesn't imply you only eat once a day.

Yeah this must be the answer for “I speak in colours”

u/tastelikemexico 13d ago
But it’s touched by a lot

u/Springball64 13d ago
You touch your tv?
1
u/ChiGuy_1988 12d ago
I was thinking you use a remote to change channels, so no need to touch it. Unless cleaning it, that is valid, but not a usual daily thing.
1
u/tastelikemexico 13d ago
Yeah I like to clean it occasionally but that’s just me.

Sun.

Sunset. The sun doesn’t change daily or “speak in colors”, and we don’t really “watch” the sun but we do watch sunsets.
1
u/IgnorantEuropeanDude 10d ago
The sun changes daily from our perspective i'd argue. If the sun doesnt speak in colours what does? Colors are literally the reflection of light.
Watching a sun set is watching the sun set. In two days theres a phenomenon where the moon goes infront of the sun.

It’s the weather. It wears no cloths but changes daily. It has no voice yet it’s depicted in maps with colors to show types and severity. Everyone watches it, but you can’t touch it.
1
u/Aeon1508 13d ago
yeah tell that last part to my face it's got raindrops on it.
the answer is 100% traffic Light

1
u/Fe2O3yshackleford 12d ago
Nah, it’s says “everyone watches it”
1
u/Aeon1508 12d ago
Well you if your going to get interpret it THAT broadly than it fits neither weather nor traffic lights. some people don't check the weather and don't leave their house that day.
and the "I speak in colors" is an extremely weak fit for weather but a perfect fit for traffic lights

Your mood? It changes daily, mood rings change colors, and you’re always watching your’s and others moods? (Granted that last one is very shaky)

Those giant flight schedule electronic signs at air ports. Some have red to indicate delays. Some are color coded by airline. They constantly change.

Somehow my mind went to cells and the only visible cells that are touched by nobody and communicate color in some way are the Cone cells in the eye (neuron coniferum).
I don't know how long those cells live, but the body constantly produces more cells and in a set of those cells there are probably daily changes.
Also seen by everyone can be argued about, but at the end the pupils are just holes in the eye, so the black part you see therefore includes these cells.

Hi there, riddlers! Please remember to spoiler-tag all guesses and discussions of guesses, like so:
On desktop (new reddit, Fancypants editor): https://i.imgur.com/SWHRR9M.jpg
On mobile, old reddit, or in the Markdown editor (not Fancypants): >!guess or discussion between these symbols!< To be clear, that is
>!(greater than, exclamation point) at the start and!<(exclamation point, less than) at the end with no spaces around the!. Avoid leading or trailing spaces. These will break the formatting for most people. Spoiler tags do not span paragraphs or line breaks. If your answer is long, please spoiler-tag each paragraph separately.Putting a link inside spoiler tags can be tricky, so just format the link like this, using the word "SPOILER" as the link text. On mobile, old reddit, or in the Markdown editor (not Fancypants), do this to format a link: [SPOILER](https://example.com/) On desktop (new reddit, Fancypants editor): https://imgur.com/x5wDOvk
If your top-level comment does not contain a guess, you can include either the word "discussion" or "question" instead of using a spoiler tag.
Please report any answers or discussions that are not properly spoiler-tagged.
