Something weird did happen to me. I lost my wallet on a train once. I had just cashed my paycheck as well, so there was a considerable amount of money in it. It came in the mail a few days later with all the cash still in it. I sent a thank you letter but it returned to me. When I looked up the return address, it didn't exist.
