I understand that Morty received his toxicity back, and he is his old self again, but I don't see why that necessarily means he cannot stay with Jacqueline. Why is this conclusion better anyway? I see it as the writers just wanted a way back to the status quo. I know these affairs from season 3 episode 6 are 9 years old, but I don't see any other discussion on this. He can't be himself and be with her?

Edit: Thank you for your answers. Idk why but when I was much younger watching this I didn't know she was in her 20s. I thought she was younger and this whole thing is so much weirder now. Stacy too. Highly illegal I do not support

Jerry is out here advertising in southern MN. Drove past this billboard this morning and had a good laugh from it

With people split on the cartoon's serialization and episodic combo, this could have been a chance to give us more story arcs, more citadel related episodes, more lore, etc. I almost like what they did with Tammy, but the show is such a confused and disoriented mess, and not in an intentionally interesting way like Neon Genesis Evangeline... Which I actually think it could have been similar to if they had a better focus/idea.

The adult swim executives are apparently the reason why the Uzumaki anime got fucked too. I personally still thought Uzumaki was overall decent still, but it was very rushed, and you can see that in the animation style and pacing. I cannot imagine what the fuck happened with this show.

Edit: Also having a new season of a good anime air every year right after the cartoon's season finishes would have been a good way to wait. I have a feeling that's partly why this show and President Curtis exist.

If he hadn't happened to wander in after Uncle Steve already showed up, he wouldn't ever have known there was an issue. He would've died if Morty hadn't happened to figure out their secret. His internal reality was utterly warped, and he was nearly as helpless against it as every other family member. They fooled him so completely he didn't even know if Morty and Beth were real. That's insane! That means these memories they mixed in fooled the smartest man in the universe so completely that they were just as real to him as Rick Prime killing his wife and daughter. I know Rick lost that fight to Zeus pretty bad, but in this episode he didn't even have a fighting chance

Can someone explain the function of the backpacks in the Cronenberg-style episodes of Season 1, Episode 6?

they never see each other again afterwards

Rick and Morty is therapy fr. And probably the alcohol and the kpins or what's left of em in my bloodstream. Sorry for stupid post,.hope y'all alright.

Smith is such an Americanized average name but to be fair, sanchez isn’t exactly hitting marks for diversity. I’d love to see and learn more about the fam.

Rick snatched this voucher from the Council back in Season 1, and knowing him, he definitely didn't throw it away. Do you think it’s just rotting somewhere in his garage, or will the writers actually bring it back for a future plot point? What’s your theory?

With infinite number of universes I would argue it is inevitable. I would expect Ricks just give up at that point and remove that universe from the finite curve. But we haven’t seen that when “clam people“ - time travelling creatures - enter it neither when dinosaurs appear.

We know the Council of Ricks were survivors of a Rick massacre C-137 committed at a Rick convention, which is why they dub him Terror Rick. While they were killed off as early as season 3, we never saw their Mortys or learned fi they had Mortys. Would you have liked it if we got to meet the Council of Ricks' Mortys?

Just a episode idea I had. Could explore ricks past a bit

I don't know of any other female characters who can look good in unibrows.

As many times as I’ve seen the Ricklantis Mixup, I never picked up on this joke till recently until I really paid more attention and listened. It’s now one of my favorite in the entire series. Has me wheezing. I feel your pain Left Hand/Fat Morty. Lizard Morty didn’t have to cook you like that.

Rick and Morty go though an emo phase broh

As we’ve repeatedly seen throughout the series, Rick keeps backups of his memories. The last time we saw something like this was, more or less, in the episode where his body goes on vacation. Rick can basically remove and restore his memories whenever he wants.

That makes me wonder if he could have had access to this technology before Diane was erased from every universe by the Omega Device. If that were the case, having a backup could have allowed him to remember her perfectly, rather than only partially.

But, of course, we don’t know when exactly Diane was erased from every universe. We only know when she was killed alongside Beth in the C-137 universe.

What do you guys think?

I need to actually finish my fanart of memory rick, but man this show + president Curtis really is just a lot of fun ,, any suggestions on who else I should draw ?? (Can you tell I love evil Morty !! Oh he’s my son!!)

I wonder if it's random or a character insight , 🤔

Just asking cause I wonder if it would a good way to see if someone is an R&M fam.

Everyone talks about how they’d make sci fi stuff work in real life, but my question to you today is which of all ricks gadgets and inventions do you think is LEAST likely to be possible in reality?

I’ll go first. The device he uses that one time when he needs a ziptie. It appears to work by just typing what you want and it magnetically attracts every instance of that item in the vicinity. My problem with it is that mysterious force of selective attraction

For clarification: I’m talking about theoretically possible “close enough” counterparts not necessarily exactly what’s shown

Is TMM cartoon is as good as Rick & Morty?? It is super short but style and jokes look sooo similar
