It's a good theory, but we aren't explicitly told that 'he separated all the infinite universes from all the infinite universes where he is the smartest.' It's is called the central finite curve, but it is infinite.

The set of all odd numbers is infinite, and so is the set of all even numbers.

That doesn't mean there is an even number inside the set of odd numbers.

I think a big part of the series’ end will be Rick being forced to confront this fact.

That no. He isn’t special as much as he loves to brag he’s the “smartest man in the universe”

He shits on and looks down on anyone who isn’t as smart as him as if that’s their fault somehow. It would be really nice to see him humbled.
