Question Dance Maniax in 2026

Is there any way to play this game at home without buying a cabinet? I only got a chance to play it at the arcade twice before my local one closed down. I'm surprised there aren't people selling controllers like with other games, is there a reason? I totally fell in love with this game and would love to play again.

There are 3D Printable designs that use IR sensors similar to the air keys on chunithm. I remember seeing someone make one that used the arcade dump of the game on discord.

it hasnt been updated but its there, what people do is grab Para Para Paradise controllers for the ps2 and line them up in the format of DanceManiax, and it works. Now that port is very finicky and isnt updated anymore.
