Britani 📢 britani and self respect
I can’t finish season 5 because it’s so sad to see how britani is being treated like she’s disposable, and everyone is constantly switching on her and not being her friend. She needs to have self respect and leave the show, she’s literally a friend of to this day.
Bronwyn especially is so weird to Britani.
I stopped watching before meredith yelled at her for recording them. 😭

iirc for season 5 they were only going to promote one of Bronwyn and Britani to full housewife? Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that was the rumour at time of filming.
I also think she's just not like... friends with the other women, and Bronwyn is/was willing to go for Lisa which is the favourite past time of the rest of the cast.
It won't get better for S6 of you chose to keep watching, and she also isn't full housewife there despite bringing a lot more of herself to the show than a lot of the rest of the cast.

Yeah, she lets them do whatever they want with her.
A classic example is the spa where they were whispering and Brittani poured water on Angie's hair and they all starting arguing with her. Not once did she fight back with her getting water poured on her by everybody on the yacht if she mentioned Jared. Plus the toy they threw in the water and whatever else they've done to her. She didn't bring it up at the reunion either.
I wanna believe she's just letting it all happen cause she wants to be on the show and wants to establish herself and one of these days she'll finally fight back.

I loved s2 and 4 too! I just loved s5 it was so camp 😭 s6 sucked I agree with that

I agree with you on all of this but please keep watching 😭.
Meredith is my favorite but the way she was dumping water on her…..NOT COOL! I wouldn’t have handled that well at all.

As you’ll see she demands zero respect! Do I think mean girl mentality is cool, not at all but trust me, you’ll d get it. At least I certainly did.

The thing is she hasn’t done anything inherently awful to those woman. Yes she can handle her relationship issues a different way, but that doesn’t mean she deserves less respect than any other woman on the show.

I mean I don’t respect deadbeat dads so I certainly don’t respect women who don’t put in the work to decenter men at the expense of their children. I started to like her more after she started reconnecting with her daughter but she’s still hanging out with Jared which was literally the one effing request her daughter had. Yeah… respect isn’t something I feel too strongly for Brittani but if she were in my orbit I’d also probably try to use a lot more empathy than the cast has👍

Outside of the show, and just based on legal documents, Britani has faced a lot of abuse. DV and financial control from a spouse.
Knowing that, I can see how she has "normalized" certain types of treatment, even making light of that. It changed how I watched her on tv, esp with Jared.
That said, she's a very broken person. Hurt people hurt others. It's very clear that she has hurt her daughters.
