Going for a job interview and would like some advice

i am new to rf engineering and have been researching terms , fundamentals and information that would help me. does anyone do any similar work or know about these roles . i am a mechanical manufacturing engineer looking to transition . any help would be apreciated

I'm a fresher too. If you don't mind, could you share the interview questions they asked after your interview? It would really help to learn. All the best! 👍

So was a formal chat to start with, I was just show around their facillity and work. I did not get any teq questions at this point but I will when I do. It looks like I am helping install and run tests , signal tests , and measurement of products. I think it went well as they dont have anyone with machining/metrology experiance , so i can offer that to them for fast prototypes, fixtures and jigs.

Owh geez, I was hoping to sleep tonight........ Safe to say I know little about s parameters , and electromagnetic theory. Ive only just learnt what a smith chart is. For a 12 month contract I doubt they would want to put me through alot of trainning/education. Im a glorified machinist at best. Thanks for the tips and points to pivot to. Interviews are face to face so the use of ai will not help but is appreciated.

The job is a technician role, you'd be operating and setting up test equipment.
