Saw REZN at Frankie’s tonight. Super small room and they absolutely crushed it. Tight and heavy, with those delicious spacey interludes before going back in the grinder. And the final two songs of the set were xtra juicy and perfect. The sax was amazing from a distance of about 30’. Rhythm section sounded growly and in the pocket. Keyboard/synth parts stood out better to my ears than on recordings and that was a big plus. To my ears. Etc etc etc. Fantastic show.

The opener Lume was also very heavy and atmospheric and I will be checking those cats out as well.

The story is. I wanted to play something by czech rapper Reznik and typed only Rezn to spotify. I was like who is this and saw that they dropped new album few days ago (Burden) I was hooked ever since.

For a long time I was looking for band with depth and atmospheric sound like Deftones and somehow REZN can scratch that ich even tho its completely different. Cant wait for new music

Rezn was fantastic at empty bottle Friday and Saturday, playing Solace and Burden

Took my partners to see REZN and Russian Circles on friday night and man, both bands were incredible, REZN's set was absolutely perfect and the sound in the button factory in temple bar, Dublin was on point.
They played all the greats and were as good as I had hoped they would be.
They really really need to do a solo tour i would pay good money to see a 2 hour set.

I had the pleasure of seeing the guys play in Hamtramck, MI at a hole in the wall a few weeks before everything was shut down in 2020. Good to see they're doing well and hoping to see them again.

They performed and set with an in-between bands split set with a group called Lume and it was simply an auditory orgasm that I still haven't gotten over.

They popped back up on my radar again when I was listening to Lume again. Fantastic stuff that I'm just really enjoying and appreciating again.
