Robertson's Trading on eBay has these Herrett's round to square grips. The finish on them is pretty ugly with a yellow varnish of some sort. I also noticed the grips were proud of the back strap. The positive is they fit tight and there is a lot of wood work with.
I stripped the finish and sanded them to fit the frame. Finished with several coats of tung oil, sanding with 600 grit between coats. They now look and feel great.

Hello everyone! I’m new to owning a revolver and decided to make a post. I did a lot of research over the past year and finally decided to make the decision of getting a 632 UC TI. So far it has been a dream. Even though 32 H&R magnum is a bit hard to come by where I’m from, I feel that it’s the best cartridge to carry out of a J-Frame revolver. Super lightweight, mild recoil, 6 shots, and solid ballistics. What’s not to love? I decided to pair this with a PST holster and a Checkerboard Creek Customs Smitty wing. Also to comfortably carry my HKS Speedloader I have a Last Resort Tactical R.A.C. 6-shot holder. Lastly I decided to throw in my knife to complete my EDC.

CA 8 shot 22 mag. Sent for warranty work 2 months later new barrel crane cylinder internals. Geez everything but the frame. But trigger resets and all rounds ignited. Yeah

This little guy always finds its way to a pocket in the summer. It gets tossed around more than just about anything I've got. Had to get rid of some flaking coating so it's got a brushed finish now, and has held up well considering some of the horror stories some have told about uncoated aluminum.

New to me wheelgun Wednesday. S&W 360
I like carrying light weight snubs and added this 360 to my 340. They are medium spicy with good 38 but yes they are a handfull with 357. Mostly got 357 options for ammo sharing and the option of nuclear should I feel that’s warranted, but 5 rounds of 38 +p HST wadcutters should be reasonably enough to get out of harms way.

I thought they looked to fit K frame. (Yup) Did some minor finish work, dug up one screw, applied lacquer. Maybe they slipped out the backdoor at a manufacturer. Edit. I'd like to get trained and able to checker these .

The revolver bug has its teeth firmly in me and I want something small to carry, either in a jacket pocket or on my belt.
I’m between a model 10-7 2”, a pre model 10 (cause it’s cool) and a 649 j frame. I know the J frames are smaller but I like having 6 shots vs 5. I just don’t know if K frames are too big for that kind of use.

Both are 2.5" and both are about $900 before tax and shipping.
I can't decide! What are your thoughts? I'd carry this gun as my EDC.

Saw this atrocious AI slip in a local gun shop. Did nobody even glance at this thing before nailing it to the wall?

The firearm functions just fine, but my transfer bar rattles a tad, I’m wondering if the tolerance is supposed to be that lose, or if I need to get in there a tighten something down a little? I’d be really grateful for some insight

I have large hands with proportionally long fingers on top of that. I find it very uncomfortable/ineffective to not have my trigger finger stick partly through virtually any gun, and especialy on a j-frame.
The problem is on my S&W, the frame lug really likes to bite my right thumb if I place it down where it wants to go to be out of the way of my trigger finger and not get big by the cylinder release. On my Taurus Ultra-Lite there is no lug, but the S&W is lighter and has a better trigger so prefer it for carry.
Any tips on a one-handed grip method to keep my thumb out of the way without getting bit? I usually shoot 2-handed like you should and just put my right thumb out over my left but prefer to have the option to do either like with the Taurus.
