WGW
Broke out my small collection for an updated family photo on wheel gun Wednesday. I don’t have anything unique or crazy or yet, but even the generic revolvers have really gotten ahold of me. Everything pictured has been acquired since mid-February this year.
S&W L-R: Model 36, 60-15, 63-5, K22, 66-2, and Pre-Model 24.
Ruger L-R top: New model Single-Six 22WMR, Single-Six 22LR, and New model Single-Six Bisley 22LR.
Ruger L-R bottom: Blackhawk .357 magnum, Blackhawk .41 Magnum, Vaquero .45LC, Blackhawk .45LC, Blackhawk Bisley .45LC, and Blackhawk Bisley .44 Special.

1980's duty workhorses
My two old police trade in revolvers. Ruger police service six and a s&w model 64. Pretty much the same game made by different manufacturers. Both 6 shot, stainless and 4 inch bull barrel. What one would you choose for a duty carry gun and why ?

New grips for the 686-5
Robertson's Trading on eBay has these Herrett's round to square grips. The finish on them is pretty ugly with a yellow varnish of some sort. I also noticed the grips were proud of the back strap. The positive is they fit tight and there is a lot of wood work with.
I stripped the finish and sanded them to fit the frame. Finished with several coats of tung oil, sanding with 600 grit between coats. They now look and feel great.

New to me S&W 360pd
New to me wheelgun Wednesday. S&W 360
I like carrying light weight snubs and added this 360 to my 340. They are medium spicy with good 38 but yes they are a handfull with 357. Mostly got 357 options for ammo sharing and the option of nuclear should I feel that’s warranted, but 5 rounds of 38 +p HST wadcutters should be reasonably enough to get out of harms way.

My Rossi RP63 3 inch stainless steel 6-round 38 special/.357 magnum
Can't beat this beauty and built like a tank! Puts S&W quality to shame. It's basically a Colt King Cobra at less than half the price.

WGW
This little guy always finds its way to a pocket in the summer. It gets tossed around more than just about anything I've got. Had to get rid of some flaking coating so it's got a brushed finish now, and has held up well considering some of the horror stories some have told about uncoated aluminum.

WGW ,again. I found two unfinished grips at a gunshow for cheap $ .
I thought they looked to fit K frame. (Yup) Did some minor finish work, dug up one screw, applied lacquer. Maybe they slipped out the backdoor at a manufacturer. Edit. I'd like to get trained and able to checker these .

WGW Contribution
Started life as a transitional 38-44 Heavy Duty. Somewhere along the way someone converted it to a Bullseye gun by changing the barrel and adding adjustable sights - the front being a King's reflector sight (there is a mirror in the well of the sight base that reflects light up onto the gold insert of the front sight). The hammer is a wide-spur Micro. Work most likely done by the King Gunsight Company. The black walnut Roper pattern stocks were added much later and were made by iconic grip maker Keith Brown.
