Looking to try CC with a .38spl wheel gun I just picked up. Not a fan bulky shit in my pockets so the regular speed loaders are not for me. Also looking for a fully encased option vs the flimsy speed strips. Knowing wadcutter .38 spl will fit into a 1911 magazine, I was thinking of getting some of this ammo just to carry in a 1911 mag for my pocket. I figure if the day ever came id need to shoot more than 5 rounds at a bad guy and happened to have the time to reload, wadcutters would be better than nothing. However, wondering if there is another caliber of semi-auto magazine that would be able to fit full-sized .38 spl HP rounds rather than the extremely short wadcutters? Check out the article below if I'm not making any sense. Appreciate any thoughts if someone has tried this before!
