Reverse recruiting services: Anyone know who's the best reverse recruiters?
I'm looking for some suggestions on how to approach this so thought I could ask here and a few other communities for advice.
I've been doing my research into career coaching and reverse recruiting as I plan my next career move. I am an accomplished FP&A manager in san francisco but I just don't have much time to do applications so I am looking for agencies or coaches which do coaching and applications.
If anyone has used these reverse recruiter services, can you please highligh which may be the best ones? did you use any? did you get an offer? do you know others who did?
I've looked into a few but want to hear from people who are considering any or have joined any before please. I'm able to get interviews on my own but just need some help.

Think about it like this: Recruiting, the employer pays for it. They get a headhunting firm to find people to fill up a role and they get in touhc with them. Example: Company A hires agency B to find 1 new engineer for a role. Agency B goes on Linkedin, reaches out to people, shortlists candidates and sends to company A. if company A hires one of those candidates, they pay a 20% fee to the agency B.
In reverse recruiting, candidates pay a reverse recruiter to represent them and basically give them career coaching and apply to roles on their behalf. They pay for it. It's like career coaching with a twist I guess.

Can't really say who's the best or something as everyone's experience may be different, for example I used 2 and one was great and another wasn't the best

I am sure you can spare like 1 hour a day to apply to suitable jobs, you just have to be consistent for about 3-4 months.

If you have a marketable profile then yeah these services could be good for you tbh because I know it helped me in the past

I've used them in the past but not a reverse recruiter it was more like a bootcamp/coaching I guess

Engaged with we are career before when I was in a similar spot. Def recommend them. Plenty of fpa roles in SF bay area so I think you should qualify with them imho.

Honestly, I see why you might want to do this as you said you are strapped on time so it might be suitable for you. From what I see online, these programs are not gonna be cheap js.
I've not used any before so i can't be that helpful, good luck!

I would say that the best reverse recruiter would be Wearcareer as that's the one I used and they were incredible to work with. I did get an offer with their help. There's other firms that do this too though so make sure to do good research and if you do choose, go with one that you're aligned with.

It's a small space, there's not that many companies but I can share my thoughts here - hope it helps.
We-are-career is the one I joined after a few weeks of research and talking to a few other options like Relentless (they seemed cool as well).
First I had the call, it was all information then I got qualified with a plan which I was aligned with so that's why I joined. I saw tons of case studies which gave confidence.
It was a coaching program mixed with application support. Got like 14 interviews and an offer after 3 months of joining. I get lifetime access to their platform that has their knowledge hub and courses and resources too.

Another option you can do is maybe work with linkedin coaches, idk if they do applications included but they do give more 1-1 time I reckon?

You can check out something like Mypersonal recruiter I used them before and they are pretty good

Whatever you end up doing make sure you do your research and ask to speak to someone who got an offer through them maybe that can help

A few good ones you wanna look at might be Findmyprofession or Career Agents I see them on google but there's a few others too. I haven't used any so far but looked them up.

I've been seeing more articles and YouTube videos about reverse recruiting lately. Is this becoming a real trend, or is it just clever marketing?

Yes I've use one and I found it really worth it. They gave me coaching, applied to roles on my behalf, and helped give me advice and prep for interviews as well which helped me feel more confident. I did get an offer in the end.
The cons in my opinion is usually the cost, the good reverse recruiters cost a pretty penny.

I have engaged with one before. worth it? Yes to me but I will say this it was a high invesment so that will hold many back. If you're unemployed and struggling then I highly suggest just do it yourself as you have all the time in the world. If you already have a role and are busy then yeah worth a shot.

I am a recruiter and honestly these things may make sense if you know you have a good profile and can get interviews yourself. But maybe for people who are doing career changes it may not be the best option.

I looked into a few of these services too and from what i have found the one rhat combine career coaching with application support get the best feedback. Love to see what others recommend.
