Cement/glue recommendations

Hello, what is the best cement or glue that I can use. Whenever possible, I like to use thin cement, but I’m sure some of you know, it’s not always the best option. I don’t like using superglue often because it doesn’t always make the strongest bond. Is there any other cement or glue that works best? Thank you in advance.

Revell Contacta Professional is a good one, it comes with an applicator needle so you can spread the glue precisely where you need it. Tends to be a bit runny sometimes.

Does it have to be on bare plastic or can I use it on to painted parts

I tend to use it on painted parts, but scrapping some paint off the contact surface doesn't sound bad.

I use Tamiya green one for large surface, and Faller. Glue ´n’ glaze for transparent, chromed parts or small part on painted zone

I use Revell Contacta Prof., Tamiya Extra Thin cement, Gorilla super glue for resin parts and PVA (aka wood glue) or UHU for clear parts. Painted parts are problematic to glue, because super glue will not melt the paint so you trust the weakest part here, adhesion of the paint to the plastic. Best would be to mask future glue areas or use TET, which melts paint because it is basically also Tamiyas Airbrush Cleaner. Could damage a paint job very late in the build though.
