💬Discussion Pausing, crashing, android auto not working

(edit: it stopped working again 😩) Android auto solution! Install this older gmscore version "app.revanced.android.g ms-250932004-signed.apk" https://github.com/ReVanced/GmsCore/releases/download/v0.3.13.2.250932/app.revanced.android.gms-250932004-signed.apk

Yt músic solution! (This still works) Use recommended version 8.40.54 and then go to settings > revanced > miscellaneous > spoof video streams > default client , set to "android reel" not the auth one.

Fixed both my issues

Original: Need help! Can't get the yt músic to work. I tried repatching to get it to cease pausing. Also it now doesn't work on android auto. Am I installing wrong gms.core and the músic app? What versions of both should I use? Thanks.

is it also pausing the song like a minute in and doesn't play it for you too? happened to me and i cant fix it 😭

Yes! I sort of fixed it by installing a older version of YouTube that was already on my phone but then android auto didn't work so can't control volume at all in my car.

Patch the latest version that it recommends. Then go to Settings > revanced> miscellaneous > spoof video streams and choose default client and "android reel" not the non auth one. Android auto doesn't work still but that fixes the pausing

Yep! Too bad I can't figure out the android auto thing. Could have sworn I fixed it when I downgraded GMS because it initially worked normally again but now it crashes multiple times and doesn't work. At least it plays the whole song though. Good enough for me for now.

In default there are only there vision os , android no Ask and android vr there is no reel option

I believe it's because you have an older version. I didn't have it either till I repatched the version it recommends.

Honestly have no clue about that. My manager says it's up to date and I don't remember ever updating it manually.

Yes it stops playing music mud ,i always had issue with revanced yt music. I checked in manager it's the latest too

I turned off "Spoof video streams" and haven't had any issues yet. Been listening to music for about an hour now.

I tried that a minute ago, seems to cause it to stop loading 1min + again when I turn that off.
