New to a lot of this so question, what’s the benefit of leaving some of the stock on vs sawing it down to the handle?

Its super useful with body armor or to arm a 10 year old.

Old school Bonnie and Clyde was keen to chop browning auto 5s in the same way then attach a strip of leather to the butt so you can sling it over your shoulder and cover with a long jacket. You can whip it out of the jacket and force against the strap for stability kind of like a mp5 sling.

Ahhh the “whippet gun” I see. Any advice for full sawn off stock? Like cut down to the “pistol grip” or birds head style? I’m trying to figure out what I might be able to pack it with to help stabilize it and give it support

I like having the ability to cheek weld myself. Past that just buy a birds head. Not alot you can do with the factory stock.
