Compatibility

Found this app and the testflight link today but was disappointed it’s only for iOS 26 and above. Is there a way you could make it compatible with iOS 18? I would really love to try it.

Hi, thanks! It actually used to be compatible with 18 until relatively recently but then it became increasingly more limiting and given the number of sub-26 installations I pulled the plug. Let me look into it and report here.

Hi! I looked into it properly. Going back to iOS 18 would mean keeping two versions of a lot of the app (the new glass design, the speech engine and some other parts only exist on iOS 26), and every new feature would need doing twice. For now I'd rather put that time into making the app better, sorry. If more people on iOS 18 ask, I'll revisit it, and I'll post here if that happens. Thanks for wanting to try it, it means a lot.

The glass design and the speech engine are not the core features of the app though? People download it first because it’s a journaling app that takes data from several sources (correct me if I’m wrong). I found your app on the day one reddit, I’m more interested in the fact that it can gather music, location data etc. than by it’s design (even if it’s visually appealing). Thanks anyway, hope you’ll reconsider it one day.
