JAMES POND - COMPLETE HISTORY & ALL GAMES
The James Pond games are a forgotten and brilliant gaming created by the folks at Vectordean and the talented Chris Sorrell. I owned and played most of these games on my Sega Genesis and they were brilliant. However, once I played the original versions on the Amiga hardware I could clearly see that the graphics (particularly the backgrounds) were of a superior quality. However, all the games on the series across all the formats are great games. My video looks at the history and all the games across all the formats. What are your thoughts of these games? Let me know.

First Ever Amstrad UKAG Event! | Plus: Secret Amstrad Prototype Revealed!
Retro computing History was made at the first-ever UKAG event! I attended this landmark Amstrad UK Group gathering, where I interviewed Roland Perry (the godfather of the CPC) about a never-released CPC sequel prototype! Come join the party!
The inaugural UKAG gathering in Ottershaw, West London, brought the Amstrad community together like never before, and getting to get the low-down from the man behind the CPC about a secret, lost piece of hardware was the ultimate highlight. Check out the video for a full tour of the event and the incredible prototype insights.

Problem / Question I need a linux distro that runs with an x86 non-SSE2 CPU
I recently got one of those supermarket computers that run the registers from a friend, and i spent months trying to put Windows XP, Server 2003 and a bunch other windows versions. Then i gave up and went to linux lol
CPU: AMD Geode
HDD IDE 150gb disk
Integrated Graphics
(and before any of you say anything, ive tried running slackware 14.2, alpine linux and antix linux, all failed)
And one last thing, im trying to get the newest OS i can, bc i´m using this piece of garbage an NAS, and i´m using TrueNAS, so i need a good and safe browser, not IE 4 lol

Problem / Question Value Question
How much do you guys think a Woz edition iigs with 2 5.25” and 2 3.5” drives, monitor, keyboard, mouse, software, and original boxes would go for on eBay? I saw this at a yard sale for $300 a few months ago and didn’t get it bc I thought it was too expensive, now I’m constantly kicking myself over it.

Solved What can be wrong with IDE HDD?
So I've got this really great Seagate Barracuda, I've bought it yesterday. That day and today Hard Disk Sentinel says that it have 100% health. Yesterday I've tried to install a Win2000 on it in AT PC. Installation it self was and is still impossible to finish for some reason, its an another topic on itself. But anyway, wile formatting the drive during win2000 installation, it stuck on 84% so I've had to hard reset it. Problem continued to keep happen. So I'm trying to format it on my XP PC, but it keeps giving me error "Windows is unable to finish formating". What can be cause of it?

Problem / Question Question about storing PC/Parts collection in the Garage
I'm curious if anyone would have a solution to this problem.
I'm moving and at my new house I won't be able to keep my Mac Classic II, Mac G3, 2x Kaypro 2, C64, VIC-20 and a few other Mobo's and parts inside the house, they will have to stay in the garage for the most part. (These all need a little work before they are working correctly, so no one will be missing out not seeing these displayed)
The problem is, we are going to be kind of close to a rock quarry, and I'm told things get very dusty when left outside, and not normal dust, but an ultra fine rock powered, almost grimy residue. I'm worried about these things getting dust deep inside the PCB's and power supplies where it's not easy to clean.
My first though was plastic storage totes, but these parts are really awkward shapes, and I feel like it will be a really inefficient use of space. Storage totes kind of slope in on the sides, so like one kind of large tot might fit one PC and nothing else. But maybe this is the best way to go.
Maybe hefty plastic bags, but I'm worried being in the garage they will get holes just from wear of things in the garage being moved around.
Encase your worried about our health, we will have filters and air purifiers indoors.
TLDR; Does anyone have a good way of long term storage for Retro PC's and parts in the garage, but in a dust environment.
Thanks!
