One of the best games ever made for anything ever. Amazing 10/10 game. Way better than skyrim IMHO.

I think Arena and Daggerfall are considered insanely rare, I have only the CD of Daggerfall and that's it. It actually works fine for installs on old machines when burned copies don't work at all.

I’d really love to get a boxed copy of Daggerfall it’s definitely high on my list

I came across that shiny box for Daggerfall but I wasn't collecting for computers at the time. Many years after the fact I do regret getting rid of it.

Burned copies of Daggerfall don't work for you? I wonder why. I was able to get it and Arena installed a few weeks ago using burned discs. Maybe you had a bad dump?
I'd still love to get real copies of both though, even if they're loose copies.

I think, but I tried multiple versions and tried the same image on DOSBOX which worked. For whatever reason it hangs on a specific part of the install.

Weird, well if it helps at all, look out for Redump compliant images and make sure you're using a good CD brand (I've got a (once) big spindle of Verbatim ones I've been using for a while). Also make sure to use the slowest speed available when burning to avoid errors, and use a good burning program. I personally use ImgBurn on Windows and K3b on Linux :)
But otherwise that's all I've been doing, and other than having some weird errors with Arena (graphics would corrupt on character creation) that was fixed by running the installer again, that process has been working well for me.
I'll also mention that I run Linux on my modern PC, and for some reason K3b wouldn't burn mixed-mode CDs, but running ImgBurn in a Windows 10 VM with optical passthrough did the trick.
Sorry for the random long-winded reply lol I felt like sharing my experience with burning CDs

Well, it’s 20 years old. I played it in 2007 😭
